Nexori is made available under this Nexori Source-Available License 1.0 (the "License"). Nexori is source-available software. Nexori is not open source. All rights not expressly granted under this License are reserved by Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana.

By accessing, copying, compiling, running, modifying, or otherwise using Nexori, you agree to comply fully with this License. If you do not agree, you may not use Nexori.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this License is to allow inspection of Nexori's Source Code, private/internal deployment and operation of Nexori, private/internal modification of Nexori, monetized operation of your own player-facing servers and communities using Nexori, and interoperable independent mods using the official in-mod integration surface, while prohibiting public forks, public redistribution, rebranding, white-label use, commercialization of Nexori itself, and use of Nexori as the basis of a competing distributed product or service.

2. Definitions

For purposes of this License:

"Nexori" means the software project made available by Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana under the name Nexori, including its Source Code, Object Code, builds, binaries, packaged outputs, configuration examples included in the repository, official modules, Official Public API, Official Internal Mod Public API, and official updates released through the Official Nexori Project.

"Official Nexori Project" means the repositories, release channels, organizations, websites, package locations, profiles, pages, and other distribution points that are identified as official by Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana in OFFICIAL_SOURCES.md, as updated from time to time by the Official Nexori Project.

"Source Code" means the human-readable form of Nexori, including source files, build files, scripts, configuration templates, interface definitions, and related materials made available in the Official Nexori Project.

"Object Code" means any non-source form of Nexori, including compiled code, bytecode, binaries, container images, archives, packaged builds, release artifacts, jars, and any other executable or machine-readable form.

"Private/Internal Use" means use solely for your own internal operations, or the internal operations of the legal entity you represent, including operating your own tenant, game, server, server network, or community, where Nexori itself is not distributed to third parties and is not offered as a product or service to third parties. Private/Internal Use includes use through your employees, contractors, auditors, hosting providers, cloud providers, CI/CD providers, private artifact stores, security review vendors, and similar service providers acting solely on your behalf and under confidentiality or materially equivalent use restrictions, provided they receive no independent right to exploit Nexori beyond supporting your permitted use.

"Redistribute" or "Redistribution" means to publish, provide, transfer, sublicense, sell, lease, share, transmit, make available, or otherwise distribute Nexori or any material part of it to any third party, whether in Source Code, Object Code, patch, container, package, hosted image, downloadable archive, repository, artifact feed, or any other form. Redistribution includes public posting of source trees, public forks, public mirrors, public patch bundles, public modded builds, and any public or third-party-accessible release that materially enables reconstruction or use of a modified version of Nexori. Redistribution does not include access, handling, hosting, processing, storage, review, or execution by employees, contractors, auditors, hosting providers, cloud providers, CI/CD providers, private artifact repositories, security review vendors, or similar providers acting solely on your behalf for your permitted Private/Internal Use, so long as they are bound by confidentiality or materially equivalent restrictions and obtain no independent right to use, publish, sell, or exploit Nexori.

"Fork" means any copy of the Official Nexori Project, whether modified or unmodified, that is maintained or published as a separate repository, codebase, distribution, or development line.

"Hosted Service" means any service where Nexori or materially Nexori-based functionality is operated, exposed, administered, or made available for the benefit of third parties over a network as a product, platform, service layer, control layer, backend layer, dashboard, orchestration layer, automation system, analytics system, cloud offering, software-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service, or comparable remotely administered offering. A player-facing game server, multiplayer server network, or community experience that you operate for your own end users or players using Nexori does not, by itself, constitute a Hosted Service, provided you are not offering Nexori itself, or a materially Nexori-based platform, dashboard, control layer, backend, or administrative service, to third parties as a product or service.

"Managed Service" means any commercial or non-commercial offering in which you operate, administer, provision, configure, monitor, automate, analyze, control, or otherwise manage Nexori or materially Nexori-based functionality on behalf of, or for the benefit of, third-party server owners, operators, tenants, networks, communities, or customers. A player-facing game server, multiplayer community, or server network that you operate as your own service to end users or players is not, by itself, a Managed Service under this License unless you are offering Nexori itself, or a materially Nexori-based control, dashboard, backend, orchestration, analytics, or management layer, to third parties.

"Competing Product" means any software product, service, framework, API variant, platform, hosted layer, control plane, dashboard, analytics system, orchestration layer, automation layer, premium hosted feature set, backend service, tenant-management system, admin layer, or similar offering that: (a) is derived from, based on, incorporates, or is materially enabled by Nexori; and (b) substitutes for, competes with, extends into commercial control over, or is marketed as an alternative, improved, hosted, managed, administered, automated, or enhanced version of Nexori or materially similar Nexori functionality. A Competing Product does not include a strictly private/internal tool, wrapper, script, or helper used only for your own permitted operations and not offered to third parties, and does not include an Independent Integration Mod that remains within the limits of this License.

"Commercialization of Nexori" means selling, licensing, sublicensing, reselling, bundling for sale, charging for access to, charging for support tied to access to, or otherwise monetizing Nexori itself, a modified version of Nexori, or any materially Nexori-based distribution, package, artifact, platform, or service, other than Permitted Server Monetization.

"Permitted Server Monetization" means charging end users or players for access to gameplay, cosmetic items, ranks, perks, starter packs, subscriptions, community memberships, digital goods, additional content, or similar player-facing server, game, or community monetization tied to your own operated game, server, server network, or player experience running Nexori, provided that you are not charging those users for access to Nexori itself and are not offering Nexori or a materially Nexori-based platform or service to third parties.

"Official Public API" means an API, interface, extension point, event surface, or contract that is intentionally exposed by the Official Nexori Project for integrations, as identified by the Official Nexori Project's code or documentation.

"Official Internal Mod Public API" means the official public integration surface exposed by the Official Nexori Project inside the mod or game environment for gameplay, minigame, or in-environment interoperability. The Official Internal Mod Public API is an internal mod/game integration API surface; it is not a public web API, hosted API, or general public network service API.

"Independent Integration Mod" means a separate work that interoperates with Nexori only through the Official Public API or the Official Internal Mod Public API, does not include Nexori code except as strictly necessary for interface compatibility, does not Redistribute Nexori, does not publish a substitute or alternative API for Nexori, and is not a Competing Product.

"Marks" means the names "Nexori", the Nexori logo, project branding, trade dress, service names, symbols, and any other identifiers associated with the Official Nexori Project.

3. Limited License Grant

Subject to your full and ongoing compliance with this License, Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana grants you a limited, revocable upon breach, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to:

1. access, read, and inspect the Source Code;
2. compile Nexori;
3. run Nexori in Object Code or Source Code form for Private/Internal Use;
4. modify Nexori for Private/Internal Use;
5. maintain private/internal forks and private/internal modified versions of Nexori for your own Private/Internal Use;
6. use Nexori to operate your own game, servers, server network, tenant, or community, including monetized or commercial player-facing operations under Permitted Server Monetization; and
7. create and operate Independent Integration Mods that interoperate with the Official Public API or Official Internal Mod Public API, provided those mods do not Redistribute Nexori, do not publish a substitute or competing API layer, and do not become or enable a Competing Product.

No ownership rights are transferred under this License.

4. Express Conditions

The rights granted under Section 3 exist only while you remain in complete compliance with all of the following conditions:

1. Nexori must remain source-available and must not be represented by you as open source.
2. Your use of Nexori must remain within Private/Internal Use unless an activity is expressly allowed as Permitted Server Monetization or as an Independent Integration Mod under this License.
3. You must not exercise any right that this License does not expressly grant.
4. You must comply with the trademark restrictions in Section 9, with TRADEMARKS.md, and with the official-channel references in OFFICIAL_SOURCES.md.
5. You must preserve all copyright notices, legal notices, trademark notices, attribution notices, branding notices, headers, and similar project notices included in the Official Nexori Project, except where a specific notice is removed or replaced by the Official Nexori Project itself.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not, and may not permit or assist any third party to:

1. Redistribute Nexori, whether modified or unmodified, in Source Code or Object Code form.
2. publish, maintain, or expose any public Fork of Nexori.
3. publish or distribute any modified version of Nexori, including any public repository, mirror, jar, binary, package, source archive, container image, patched build, or derived release.
4. publish any patch set, diff bundle, scripted patching system, or other change bundle that materially enables third parties to recreate a modified version of Nexori.
5. remove, alter, obscure, or misrepresent copyright notices, legal notices, trademark notices, attribution notices, branding notices, or project headers from Nexori or from any included official files or materials, except where strictly necessary for private/internal operational formatting and without changing their substantive meaning.
6. rebrand, rename, relabel, or white-label Nexori, or publish Nexori under another name.
7. use Nexori or any modified version of Nexori in a manner that suggests it is your original product or an official product other than the Official Nexori Project.
8. engage in any Commercialization of Nexori.
9. sell, resell, license, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially distribute Nexori itself.
10. offer Nexori, a modified version of Nexori, or materially Nexori-based functionality as a Hosted Service or Managed Service.
11. operate any shared or third-party-facing dashboard, control plane, analytics platform, backend platform, orchestration system, automation service, fleet management system, provisioning system, tenant-management service, admin layer, premium hosted feature layer, or materially similar service that is based on Nexori or materially Nexori-derived functionality for third parties.
12. charge server owners, operators, tenants, communities, or other third parties for access to a platform, service, control layer, dashboard, managed deployment, managed operation, hosted feature set, or other offering based on Nexori.
13. create, market, publish, or offer a Competing Product without prior written permission from Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana.
14. publish any "enhanced", "improved", "cloud", "hosted", "dashboard", "managed", "admin", or similar public version of Nexori.
15. publish or distribute an alternative public version of the Official Internal Mod Public API, or any modified public API surface for Nexori, as a separate public framework, substitute, public improvement, or competing integration layer outside the Official Nexori Project.
16. use an Independent Integration Mod, or any integration rights under this License, as a means to publish a substitute for Nexori, a substitute API, a public API fork, or a Competing Product.
17. imply sponsorship, endorsement, certification, partnership, official affiliation, or official compatibility status with the Official Nexori Project or Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana without prior written permission.

6. Limited Public Discussion and Commentary

This License does not authorize public redistribution of Nexori. However, a narrow and non-substitutive quotation of limited excerpts from Nexori Source Code may be used for commentary, technical discussion, security analysis, review, or documentation, provided that:

1. the excerpt is no more than reasonably necessary for the specific explanatory purpose;
2. the excerpt does not materially enable reconstruction of Nexori or a modified version of Nexori;
3. the excerpt is not presented as a patch set, substitute implementation, or functional redistribution;
4. all applicable copyright, legal, and trademark notices accompanying the excerpt are preserved where reasonably practicable; and
5. the excerpt does not circumvent the prohibitions in this License.

7. Clarifying Examples

The following examples are provided for interpretation and do not narrow the prohibitions above.

7.1 Permitted examples

The following are permitted, subject to full compliance with this License:

1. using the official version of Nexori, or a privately modified version of Nexori, on your own servers and charging players for cosmetics, ranks, perks, access, subscriptions, or similar player-facing monetization;
2. operating a public-facing multiplayer game server, network, or community for your own players using Nexori, where players interact with your game service rather than receiving Nexori itself as a product or service;
3. privately modifying Nexori to operate your own tenant, server network, or internal multiplayer environment;
4. maintaining a private/internal fork of Nexori for your own operations;
5. using employees, contractors, auditors, cloud providers, hosting providers, CI/CD providers, private artifact stores, or security review vendors solely to support your permitted internal use of Nexori, so long as they act only on your behalf and under confidentiality or materially equivalent restrictions;
6. building internal dashboards, scripts, reporting tools, wrappers, helpers, or operational tooling solely for your own internal operation of your own Nexori deployment, so long as those tools are not offered to third parties and do not become a Hosted Service, Managed Service, or Competing Product;
7. creating a separate minigame or gameplay mod that interoperates with the Official Public API or Official Internal Mod Public API, so long as that separate mod does not Redistribute Nexori, does not publish an alternative or substitute Nexori API, and does not become a Competing Product; and
8. submitting pull requests to the Official Nexori Project.

7.2 Prohibited examples

The following are prohibited:

1. publishing a modified Fork of Nexori on GitHub, CurseForge, or any other public or third-party-accessible site;
2. rebranding Nexori and publishing it as another project;
3. distributing a modified jar, build, image, package, installer, or release of Nexori;
4. publishing a patch bundle, wrapper package, or automation that materially allows others to recreate your modified Nexori build;
5. offering a hosted dashboard, analytics service, control service, backend platform, admin platform, or multi-tenant management platform built on Nexori;
6. charging other server owners for access to a Nexori-based platform, hosted layer, managed deployment, or managed operations service;
7. selling premium hosted features on top of Nexori as a separate product or service for third parties;
8. publishing a separate public variant of the Official Internal Mod Public API as a public improvement, public fork, public wrapper framework, or alternative framework; and
9. publishing an improved public version of Nexori with a different public API instead of contributing the improvement through the Official Nexori Project.

8. Contributions

Public contributions intended to become part of Nexori may be submitted only to the Official Nexori Project. Public forks are not an approved path for public contribution. Submission of a contribution is governed by CONTRIBUTING.md, the applicable pull request requirements, and CLA.md.

9. Trademarks and Branding

This License does not grant any rights to use the Marks except for narrow, truthful, nominative reference that does not imply endorsement or affiliation, such as "compatible with Nexori" or "works with Nexori." Any use of the Marks remains subject to TRADEMARKS.md.

You may not use the Marks, or confusingly similar names, logos, symbols, or branding, in any way that suggests sponsorship, official status, endorsement, substitution, or affiliation with the Official Nexori Project.

10. Compliance, Termination, and Cure

Your rights under this License terminate automatically if you breach this License.

Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of Nexori that is no longer authorized, stop any prohibited distribution or offering, and destroy or permanently disable further use of unauthorized distributed copies in your possession or control, except to the extent retention is required by law.

Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana may, but is not required to, offer a written opportunity to cure a violation. Any cure opportunity, if offered, is discretionary and does not waive any past, present, or future breach.

Termination under this Section is in addition to any other rights or remedies available at law or in equity.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

NEXORI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, SECURITY, PERFORMANCE, AVAILABILITY, OR THAT NEXORI WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERROR.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana, OR HIS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, BUSINESS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS LICENSE OR YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE NEXORI, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS LICENSE OR NEXORI WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, IF ANY, FOR RIGHTS UNDER THIS LICENSE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (B) TEN UNITED STATES DOLLARS (US$10.00).

13. No Support Obligation

Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana has no obligation to provide support, maintenance, updates, patches, fixes, compatibility work, or other services for Nexori unless expressly agreed in a separate written agreement signed by an authorized representative.

14. Language

The controlling language of this License is English. Any translation is provided for convenience only. If there is any inconsistency between the English version and a translated version, the English version controls.

15. No Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision of this License is not a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

16. Severability

If any provision of this License is held unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

17. Entire License

This License is the complete and exclusive statement of the permissions granted for Nexori unless Janiel Joel Núñez Quintana provides a separate written agreement signed by an authorized representative.
